Hot-pants were launched by fashion designer Mary Quant during the " Swinging London " scene of the mid-1960s , and they were popular up to the early 1970s! You will see why they are "designer" when you take a close look at the construction. The hem of the shorts have small slits on the side with hidden elastic to keep them in place. The waistband has hidden elastic dispersed throughout, the side seam zipper is hidden perfectly, and there is even a hidden pocket inside! The exterior is a medium weight cotton blend with a totally retro pattern in shades of yellow, brown, teal, blue, and white. They have their original label inside which reads. "Balboa Originals Designers Collection, Single Needle Detail". There is no sizing label present but they fit a modern day XS (relaxed) - S (fitted).
