The Almost Long Trousers have relaxed fit, positioned at lower waist and dropped crotch. Leg tapers to the ankle, waistband and bottom cuffs are elasticated. The trousers feature in-seam pockets. The trousers are styled with The Assembly Line Kimono Jacket and Cuff Top.

The pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step sewing instructions.

Suggested Fabrics:

Mid to heavy weight fabrics such as denim, cotton twill, lightweight canvas.

Fabric Requirements: 

XS 1.3 m / S 1.4 m / M 1.5 m / L 1.6 m

You will also need:

• Matching thread,
• Elastic tape width 50 mm,
• XS 1.5 m / S 1.6 m / M 1.8 m / L 1.9 m + 0.2 m interfacing.

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including size XS-L (approx 8-20). The trousers have a relaxed fit, positioned at lower waist, so use your (lower) waist and seat measurement for sizing. 

If you wish to adjust the relaxed waist you can choose to add more or less elastic tape. Just remember that the waist has to be wide enough to be pulled over your seat when putting the trousers on. You can easily shorten or lengthen the pattern, make the adjustment at knee height.
