While this is clearly sold as seen, as there are multiple flaws, it's the only one I have seen quite like it! A rather more glamorous version of the beach pyjama, constructed from a floral patterned chiffon decorated with gold lamé in a very Art Deco design. I've seen these more decadent materials in beach pyjama referred to as a 'night pyjama' in early 30s literature!

Good deco seaming to hip area, huge palazzo legs. Deep-ish v back, fastens with stainless hooks and eyes to one shoulder and side hooks and eyes - entry is step in style. 

As you can see from the photos, there are a number of old repairs where it has been backed in black chiffon, various seam repairs, a few pulled seams, and the odd small hole. I've photographed everything. 

I'd kept with the intention of restoring it more comprehensively but I keep putting it off so selling on as it comes! Its still a really interesting piece.

As described above and as pictured. It's currently pretty much all in one piece but I would suggest replacing/redoing the old repairs more professionally, and just a general going over. The material itself is still pretty stable but clearly delicate in nature. Selling as seen - please see my many many photos (sorry!)
