Gallery 30's master carvers have produced quality wood carvings in Central Pennsylvania since 1980. Each piece is carefully hand carved and painted, then goes through a ten step finishing process. Each piece is handcrafted and unique so the product may vary from photo.

The feathers of the duck are given a textured look. This is done by applying a red base coat of paint. After the base coat is dry then a coat of black paint is applied. The artists give it a feathery appearance by etching designs onto the wood while the second coat of paint is still wet.
