50s Black Straw Beanie Hat Junia Carson Pirie Scott Modernist

Darling little mini hat in woven, shiny, black straw, it is round with hollowed out/sculpted sides and the top is offset by an ornate coiling of black silk chord with pompoms. It is held in place by a black elastic that goes at the nape. Interior has petersham, little combs to keep the hat from moving and the label.

Condition: very good with no visible imperfections other than the petersham ribbon on the interior has detached in one small section (see last pic). Priced accordingly.
