Vintage 1940’s CC41 Spectacular woollen plaid suit in greens and brown.  Such a very good quality, well made suit of an iconic era which has the original CC41 label .” Glen Har reg’d model-made in Scotland Label.  Plaid pattern with greens, cinnamon, taupe and brown. The jacket is fully lined,with weights still in lining and shoulder pads and such sharp lapels to the collar with 4  x button down jacket. Beautiful shape and detailing to the pockets. This jacket is panelled rather than darts, and therefore gives a very elegant stance.  The skirt has 2 x kick pleats to the front and 1 x kick pleat to the back, a metal side zip and button fastening.  No further hem to the skirt but a little side seam room if required. 

This has to be one of the  best examples of an early CC41 suit , we have had the pleasure of owning and looking after. The attention to detail is heightened by the perfect plaid colourway.  It has such a good weight to it. 
A beautiful suit, which is very very smart but you can easily wear as seperates ,to accompany and make many more outfits from this gorgeous palette. 
A beautiful treasure to enjoy, wear and feel very comfortable in. A fabulous treat for any vintage wearer or collector.

 Very Good Vintage Condition - flaws to note : Slight marks to underarm lining and 3 tiny nibbles to front hemline to skirt. These flaws certainly do not detract from a very good early 1940’s woollen suit and is ready to wear.
