Yes. The system will be open during condenser replacement, so you'll need to evacuate the old refrigerant, replace the condenser, and then recharge with fresh refrigerant per your vehicle's specification. Have this done at a shop equipped with an AC recovery machine.

Will this condenser work with my existing AC lines and hoses?
