Lucie Ann lingerie was founded in 1947 by Lucie Ann Onderwyzer. She asw renowned for her use of nylon tricot "lounge gowns" & "hostess gowns". Based in Beverly Hills, California, her lingerie & loungewear was a hit with the stars, being featured in the TV series Green Acres, worn by star Eva Gabor. The label inside this piece is a coveted Lucie Ann "Gold Label", dating it to the late 1950s - early 960s. This elegant but comfy peignoir style lounge gown is the embodiment of vintage mid century romance! It is full length is a bright red semi-stretchy slinky and silky fabric...you will feel like a glamorous cloud floating through any room as you walk! It has an relaxed, flaring fit on the body and the sleeves and a clean neckline. There is no zipper, you just slip right in and pull it on! It is suitable for many different seasons and occasions and could be worn around the house or out and about. It looks great loose or belted! We just can't say enough about this piece! There are two labels inside: The original Lucie Ann Gold Label & an additional label from the specialty boutique which sold it, "Intimate Glamour Santa Barbara". There is no size, but it would fit anyone from XS-XXL with it's roomy silhouette.
