A mid-weight stretch satin with a pebbled crepe face — the textured option for designers who want satin sheen with tactile dimension and comfortable give.
Satin Stretch Crepe is a 205 gsm (~6.0 oz/yd²) 100% polyester woven satin with a pebbled crepe texture on the face, milled in Korea at 50/52" wide. Where most stretch satins lean smooth and glossy, this one reads dimensional: the crepe pebbling scatters light so the fabric photographs with depth rather than hot spots. The hand is fluid with a quiet stretch, and the marbled and gem colorways layer printed visual movement on top of the surface texture. It is the satin you reach for when smooth stretch satin feels too flat and crepe-back satin feels too matte.

Honest scale note: not built for sustained-tension full ceremony drape, heavy ceiling drapes, or full banquet tablecloths where you need broad solid-color palettes — only 4 printed colorways exist. Use it where the textured face is the design choice.
The texture is the product. The face carries a fine, even pebbling — consistent micro-relief, not coarse or slubbed. Dry to the touch rather than slick (the opposite of smooth stretch satin); the reverse is smoother and flatter. At 205 gsm the cloth falls in soft, rounded folds rather than liquid pours. Stretch registers as a comfortable give you notice when you move and forget when you stand still. Sheen is a soft glow that lives inside the pebbled surface — brushed pearl, not polished chrome.

What is satin stretch crepe?
A stretch satin woven with a pebbled crepe texture on the face. It pairs soft satin sheen with tactile crepe dimension and comfortable stretch — a satin that reads textured and sophisticated rather than glossy and flat.
Is it the same as crepe back satin?
No. Crepe back satin has a smooth satin face and crepe on the reverse. Satin stretch crepe puts the crepe texture on the face and adds stretch. Related families, structurally different.
Is it stretchy?
Yes — comfortable, supportive give with clean recovery. Designed to ease fit on dresses, skirts, blouses, and wrap silhouettes; not athletic-grade stretch.
How does it photograph?
Well — the pebbled face scatters light and kills the hot-spot reflections that plague smooth satins under flash and studio lighting. Reads dimensional rather than glassy on camera.
Is it good for bridal?
For modern, low-glare bridal and bridesmaid pieces, yes — the pebbled face is a sophisticated alternative to standard smooth satin. Not the right pick for structured ball gowns or corseted bodices.
Is it machine washable?
Yes — cold, delicate cycle, mesh bag, mild detergent. Lay flat or hang to dry. Skip the dryer to protect the stretch.
