40s Saybury Paisley Rayon 2 Pc Dress & Jacket Set with Yellow Sleeves & Belt

This authentic 1940s two-piece set is crafted from smooth rayon featuring a vibrant, multi-colored paisley and floral print. The ensemble includes a short-sleeved day dress and a matching jacket. The collarless jacket is distinguished by solid yellow contrast, half-length sleeves and a matching yellow chest pocket, adding a bold pop of color to the intricate pattern. The center has paisley covered buttons down the front that are decorative, as someone replaced their loops with hidden, interior snaps and velcro (I am guessing for a quick costume change!). The dress has a fold-down collar, padded shoulders, half length sleeves, and a zip front closure down the length of the front. Waist is nipped, has belt loops, while the midi length skirt features a large pocket at the right hip. An adjustable, narrow, waist belt in matching yellow can be worn over the jacket or just with the dress. Both pieces unlined.
