This silver tone metal necklace is composed of many links making this choker lay well around your neck. Each square measures a half inch each. It is an average choker size of 16 inches. The silver tone plating is still bright and in excellent condition.

This metal necklace is circa 1950 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.

There are no makers marks on the choker. The box closure clasps well.
