Sumptuous, two-piece vintage cocktail ensemble from renowned Canadian designer, Arnold Scaasi (1930-2015), comprises a long-sleeved jacket and a strapless dress. Both pieces are heavily embroidered - the jacket and skirt in iridescent metallic silver, and the bodice in pink and green on an ivory ground. The jacket closes with hidden snaps down the front, and its lining matches the pink floral embroidery of the dress. The dress has flexible bones in the bodice, and soft box pleats in the front add some fullness to the skirt. There are no tags in either piece, an indication that it was made in the first half of the 1980s. All of the fabrics appear to be silk with both metallic and silk threads in the embroidery. No size label is present, but sizing charts put it in the 2-4 range. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size.

CONDITION
Excellent condition with no significant flaws. Foam bra pads inside the dress have hardened with age, but can easily be removed or replaced.
