A Charming c.1950s Eloga Chronograph with a Beautiful Vintage Ecru Dial and Original Syringe Hands with Attractive Lume
Founded in 1917 in Lengnau, Switzerland, the Eloga Watch Company built its reputation on producing reliable, well-made timepieces during the golden age of Swiss watchmaking. The brand offered a wide range of watches, from elegant dress models to sturdy chronographs, often housing robust Swiss movements. Though not as widely known as some of its contemporaries, Eloga earned a loyal following, and today its vintage pieces are admired for their quality, charm, and relative rarity.
What's on Offer
We are delighted to present this distinctive Eloga chronograph, a fine example of mid-century Swiss watchmaking with real character and rarity. The ecru dial is beautifully balanced with its uncommon vertical bi-compax layout: a 45-minute chronograph register at 12 o’clock and continuous running seconds at 6 o’clock. The outer tachymeter and telemeter scales add practical functionality, while bold Arabic numerals and lume-filled syringe hands ensure excellent legibility.
Encased in polished stainless steel and protected by a shatterproof Plexiglass crystal, the watch features dual pushers for chronograph start/stop and reset. The caseback proudly reads Antimagnetic and Incabloc, highlighting its shock protection and reliability. Likely dating to the late 1940s or early 1950s, this Eloga chronograph offers collectors a rare vertical-register design, vintage charm, and robust Swiss engineering in one striking package.
